Maximum number of infants per classroom is 8, with 2 or more adults at all times. Responsibilities for this position include the following:

  1. Manage the daily routine and overall supervision of the classroom

  2. Implement the approved curriculum and develop supplemental activities if necessary

  3. Report discipline concerns to the Daycare Director

  4. Assess each child’s developmental needs on an ongoing basis

  5. Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment for children

  6. Communicate needs for the classroom to the Assistant Daycare Director. This includes maintaining inventory of classroom supplies and equipment as well as any additional needed materials

  7. Responsible for diaper changes and feedings

  8. Post updates, pictures and more to Brightwheel. Respond to any parent communication via Brightwheel

  9. Plan any extra classroom events such as holiday parties

  10. Provide instruction and direction to Classroom Assistant

  11. Attend all required trainings, meetings, and daycare events

  12. Promote StoneBridge and it’s activities as appropriate to families

  13. Fulfill other assignments from the Daycare Director
