Objective:
The Sales Specialist role markets, prospects, and sells American Family Insurance products in all product lines. Maintains effective customer relationships, understands customers needs, and matches them with appropriate product and service offerings. Promotes brand awareness through participation in agency and community events.

Responsibilities
Help the Agency grow by using consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers
Secure new business through individual effort and established lead methods
Prepare quotes and applications and deliver effective presentations to close sales.
Use a customer focused, needs based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
Provide prompt, accurate and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services.
Meet and exceed sales goals
Requirements
Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize work
Demonstrated prospecting, sales, and customer service experience.
Sales experience (outside sales, inside sales, retail or telemarketing) preferred
Active involvement in the community
Excellent communications skills written, verbal and listening
Enthusiastic about the role insurance plays for helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realizing their dreams. Demonstrated knowledge of insurance concepts.
Confident, Self-Motivated, and Coachable. Pleasantly persistent with a love for speaking to all
Experience with social media platforms. (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Google, and LinkedIn)
Property, Casualty and Life license through Wisconsin and Illinois
