Position: Multi-Family Roofing Sales Representative

Job Description: In the role of Multi-Family Roofing Sales Representative at Southern, you are at the forefront of building customer relationships that are built to last. Your primary focus is on personalized customer interactions, with a strong emphasis on lead generation and building a book of business. You will also be negotiating prices and overseeing project execution. This position is $45,000 + uncapped commissions.


Key Responsibilities:

  2. Excel in actively generating leads and establishing client connections.
  3. Eagerly get involved in the community by way of community associations, hospitality groups, trade shows, association meetings, and more ·
  4. Communicate effectively with potential clients, offering tailored solutions to their needs.
  5. Interact directly with customers and resolve potential issues, questions and complaints in a professional and collaborative manner.
  6. Conduct thorough roof inspections and provide expert recommendations.
  7. Manage entire project lifecycles, from cost estimation to successful completion.
  8. Efficiently coordinate schedules and resources to meet project goals.


Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this role is:

  1. Self-motivates with a passion for outdoor, on-the-ground sales work.
  2. 1-2 years roofing experience, preferably multi-family and commercial.
  3. Extensive knowledge of the roofing industry and how to perform inspections.
  4. Knowledge of shingles, tile, TPO, roof coatings, and other systems you would be selling.
  5. Able and willing to set up a ladder and climb on the roof.
  6. Reliable, dependable, diligent and highly organized with good time management skills.
  7. Demonstrative of strong business practices and judgment.
  8. Seeking a full-time, flexible position that promises both personal and professional growth.

***Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus 

Requirements: 

  1. A valid driver's license and their own reliable vehicle that they would be using daily for the position.Basic math and computer skills.
  2. Willingness to undergo and pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
  3. 1-2 years roofing sales experience
