Banquet Inside Sales

Job Summary:

Galaxy Restaurant, a premier hospitality and restaurant destination in Wadsworth, Ohio, is seeking a driven and service-oriented individual to join our team as a Banquet Inside Sales representative. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Hotel/Hospitality industry.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients interested in booking banquet events at the Galaxy Restaurant
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a timely and professional manner
- Understand and effectively communicate all aspects of the Galaxy Restaurant's event packages, menus, and pricing
- Conduct property tours and showcase event spaces to potential clients
- Provide accurate and detailed event proposals and contracts to clients
- Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure a smooth planning and execution process for events
- Maintain relationships with past clients and cultivate new business through networking and community involvement
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to increase event bookings and revenue
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as updating databases and generating reports

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Hospitality or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality or event industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to anticipate and exceed client needs
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with event planning software a plus
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client needs
- Must have reliable transportation to attend events and meetings outside of regular office hours
