Job DescriptionJob Description Scaffold Builder

Bilfinger  Inc, known as a leading one stop shop provider for complex industrial services is seeking a Local  , Scaffold Builder  at our IP Savannah  Georgia  location .   No Per Diem - this position is a local permanent position
 
Responsibilities:
  • Examines blue prints and specifications to determine dimensions of structure.
  • Inspect base surface for obstructions.
  • Loads, transports and unloads material.
  • Promotes Safety workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing correct ppe, and observing for oneself and others
  • Has knowledge in various types of scaffold builds
  • Ability to perform work at above ground elevations while wearing a harness and other PPE
  • Ability to lay out work and execute build
  • Ensures builds are within OSHA standards
  • Ensures correct material for build is available
  • Detail oriented to spot potentially dangerous conditions
  • Work as general labor when needed
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
  • Scaffold experience a plus
  • OSHA 10 or 30
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Fingering, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive Motions
