Draftsman

Lincoln Contracting & Equipment is seeking a CAD Draftsman. This position prepares assemblies, general arrangements, foundation, detail, and erection drawings used in the material handling and structural steel building industries. This includes detailing all views and dimensions necessary for design and fabrication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Develop 3D CAD designs using computer-assisted design/drafting software and various hand and automated measuring tools.
• Utilize knowledge of shop fabrication processes to influence the design process. This knowledge will be gained through on-the-job experience.
• Traveling to job sites to do field measuring may be required as well. Safety training will be provided.

Education and/or Experience

• Experience in AutoCAD is required.
• Experience in Inventor and/or Tekla software is a plus.
• An associate degree from a two-year college or university is desired, but not required. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

• Must be available to work overtime as required.
