Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sourcer to join our team and support our recruiting efforts by identifying and engaging top talent. This hybrid role requires working from our Norwalk, CT office 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days. The Sourcer will play a crucial role in finding lead candidates, and there is potential for promotion to a Recruiter position within 6-12 months based on performance.  Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and monotonous elements of the role, as the position involves a consistent and systematic approach to sourcing candidates. This aspect of the job is crucial, and we want to ensure candidates are fully aware and prepared for the routine nature of the work.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Sourcing:
    • Identify and research potential candidates for various roles in the b2b sales industry, with opportunity to support the creative, marketing, and technology sectors.
    • Develop targeted candidate lists and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
    • Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking, to engage potential candidates and build relationships.
  2. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand position requirements and candidate profiles.
    • Stay informed of industry trends and market conditions to effectively target and attract top talent.
    • Assist in the development of strategies to fill roles efficiently and effectively.
  3. Pipeline Management:
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
    • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  4. Reporting:
    • Provide regular updates on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and market insights.
    • Assist in reporting on sourcing performance and recommending improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in sourcing or recruiting is preferred but not required. A strong interest in talent acquisition and the creative, marketing, or technology sectors is essential.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools is a plus.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong research skills with the ability to analyze market trends and candidate data.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
