We have fused the core tenets of Montessori with today’s state-of-the-art learning tools and enhanced teacher training. As an Educational Trainer at Apple Montessori Schools, you will have a critical role in our enhanced teacher training that demonstrates our commitment to professional development and helping our students to reach their full potential.


Apple Montessori’s training department is accredited by the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). IACET is recognized internationally as a standard development organization that promotes quality of continuing education and training.


Some of your duties and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Daily Travel between different school locations in region Middlesex County, NJ
  • Plan, develop, schedule, and/or provide in-service training and evaluation of childcare staff.
  • Ensure that training objectives are met and share observations with Director of Training
  • Complete a monthly Policies and Procedures Review for each school covered.
  • Take responsibility for training new hires and ensure that their mentor/mentee relationships are on track.
  • Review and complete Building Evaluations and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable.
  • Maintains accurate and timely assessments and progress notes for all assigned staff.
  • Ensure equipment and the facility is clean, well maintained at all times.
  • Maintains confidential student, parent and/or school information in accordance with company policies.

Reports to:

Head of Training with accountability to the Directors/RDs of the schools they are assigned to.


Requirements:


Working and Physical Demands:

  • Physically able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children
  • Perform duties onsite unless otherwise indicated and approved
  • An understanding of health and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

  • College Degree and/or CDA required (in Education or related field)
  • Montessori Experience a plus
  • CPR / First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a classroom setting
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
