Service Diesel Technician

West Plains, Inc., an employee-owned, certified Case IH dealer in Bowman, ND, is looking for a top notch individual to perform quality maintenance and repairs on all types of agricultural equipment. A great candidate is one who likes to problem-solve, is a continuous learner and has a dedicated work ethic.
Team Contribution:
- Responsible for maintenance, repair, and reconditioning of farm equipment
- Comply with all safety regulations and rules
- Quality and customer service oriented
- Promoting team Values through effective interaction with team members
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment
- Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Good people, communication, time management and organizational skills
Requirements:
- Troubleshoot, analyze and perform mechanical repairs on agricultural equipment
- Track details and prepare reports/forms in conjunction with assigned work orders
- Follow all necessary schedules/requirements for completion of tasks
- Use of electronic diagnostic tools, electronic parts catalogs, and other sources of information
Physical Requirements:
- Physical mobility including being able to lift up to 60 pounds unaided
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Be able to manage different environmental smells
