We are presently looking to add a full-time Front Office Registrars to our Behavioral Health team. This position will be based in our Stamford office at 1351 Washington Blvd.

Position Summary:

Member of a health care team responsible for working with Providers, Nurses, and Clinical Support staff, to ensure a complete and timely patient flow process. Assure that pre-work is performed before the patient arrives by verifying demographic and insurance information to ensure prompt payment of services to Optimus. Handles medical records requests in a timely manner and in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Scans documents relating to patient treatment into the EMR.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: High School diploma / Associates degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: At least five years’ experience, preferably in the health care setting. Familiarity with tele-medicine and prior experience a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Bi-lingual English/Spanish is helpful

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to use calculator

REASONING ABILITY: Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
