POSITION OVERVIEW (School Lead):

As a School Lead, you will play a crucial role in the administrative and educational operations of our institution. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities, fostering a positive learning environment, managing staff, and ensuring the implementation of educational standards and policies. This role is for a person aspiring for higher level school leadership such as Principal or C-level roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES (School Lead):

  • Administrative Oversight:
    • Work closely with the principal and leadership to manage the overall administrative functions of the school, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to education and school administration.
  • Educational Leadership:
    • Work closely with the principal Provide visionary leadership in setting educational goals and objectives for the school.
    • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum plans that align with educational standards and promote student success.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing effective assessment and evaluation strategies.
  • Staff Management:
    • Recruit, hire, and train qualified teaching and administrative staff.
    • Provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities for staff members.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality of education delivery.
  • Student Engagement and Support:
    • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of all students.
    • Implement strategies to address the individual needs of students and promote student engagement and retention.
    • Work closely with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders to support student success and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Foster open communication and collaboration among staff, students, parents, and community members.
    • Represent the school in meetings, conferences, and other community events.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with local educational agencies, businesses, and community organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS (School Lead):

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching or administrative certification/license.
  • Proven experience in educational leadership, including at least [insert number] years of experience in a leadership role within a school or educational institution.
  • Strong understanding of educational standards, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
