Job Description
JOB TITLE: Massage Therapist as an Independent Contractor
Available: Fall 2024
SUMMARY:
The Spine & Injury Clinic of Laramie is a multidisciplinary clinic that offers Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, and Massage. We are looking for a ¾ to full time massage therapist to work as a member of our team in this patient-oriented environment. There is an established patient base in place and constant growth. Table and supplies will be supplied. In addition to treating in-office the therapist will participate during onsite corporate wellness treatments, or athletic events. This is a great opportunity to grow skills work with a diverse patient base without the hassle of managing a business.
COMPENSATION:
$30-40/hr + gratuities - based on experience and commitment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs massage therapy and touch modalities, which may include Rehabilitative massage, Deep Tissue, Sport, Swedish, Prenatal
- Completes S.O.A.P. notes, maintains accurate documentation and filing of client
files after each visit. (we will train) Follows HIPAA compliance.
- Maintains the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner including stocking
products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization. Replaces massage
linens on tables so that the room ready for the next client.
- Assists clinics in activities including staff meetings, promotions, clean-up and
housekeeping duties.
- Assists with washing and folding of all linens used in treatment rooms.
- Conducts massage therapy and massage modalities as advertised by the clinic
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team player, flexible, punctual
EDUCATION:
- Completed at least 600 hours of course work and obtained a certificate or degree from an accredited college, school, or institute of massage therapy.
- New grads welcomed – team environment with other therapists
