RMC is hiring a Dection Engineer Analyst to support our customer in Quantico, VA. The selected applicant will perform a variety of activities including but not limited to

  • Support the production of detection use cases.
  • Utilize logs and alerts from host operating systems, network intrusion prevention systems, endpoint detection and response tools, anti-virus and host intrusion prevention systems, and other sources to create the ability to detect malicious or unauthorized activity on the network.
  • Applicant selected will develop and perform various IA tasks in accordance with government requirements in order to successfully support detection monitoring requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, engineering, or information assurance is required. Experience with IA tools such as eMass or ACAS preferred.
  • This position will require DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II compliance. Selected candidate must hold a valid IAT Level II certification.
  • Security Clearance: An active Secret clearance is required. Applicant selected will be subject to security investigation(s) and must maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
