Sheet Metal Worker
Sierra Peaks is hiring for a Sheet Metal Worker for our Lemon Grove, CA location. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and interpreting drawings to produce finished sheet metal products. Workers need to be able to set up and operate fabrication machinery safely and under limited supervision, including a press brake, shear, and others. Each technician is responsible for ensuring quality products in conformance with our Quality Management System.

Job Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products from blueprints, start to finish
Assemble and install items into mechanical assemblies
Set up and operate press brakes, shears, rivet guns, etc
Operate measuring instruments
Inspect work intermittently to ensure quality
Other duties as assigned

Experience:
5+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication is required
Knowledge of different machines and methods of manipulating sheet metal is required
Experience with the maritime industry is preferred

Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening test
