Location: St. Louis, MO (Community based, services are provided within the family home)
Job Summary
Be a crucial part of our mission to support and empower youth and families through our Fostering Futures program. As a Behavioral Intervention Specialist, you will:
- Deliver weekly in-home behavioral interventions for children and families.
- Provide essential parent education, enhancing parenting skills to address youth behaviors.
- Support parents and youth in home and school settings.
- Participate in family and child team meetings, IEPs, school meetings, and KVC team meetings.
- Help us create a positive impact by fostering prevention, stabilization, and reunification within the home, school, and community.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Licensure/Certification:
- Possesses a current, valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Experience in child welfare, foster care system, behavioral and trauma informed services, case management, child and adolescent development, family systems, parenting skills and interventions.
- 2 years experience in behavioral intervention services.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all communications, documentation and transactions.
