Overview:
The HOP Coordinator will manage the Healthy Opportunities Pilot Program (HOP) and HOP team members through oversight of the day-to-day operations of the HOP program.
The position is salaried and requires a flexible schedule, primarily Monday through Friday, with an occasional weekends or evening as needed. The HOP coordinator will be the primary person responsible for leading the community engagement as it relates to the HOP program. The HOP coordinator will facilitate the purchases of food for the HOP boxes, the logistic for delivery of the HOP boxes, as well connecting members as needed to community partners to ensure clients are receiving additional services.


General Overall Job Role and Duties:

Familiarize themselves with the Healthy Opportunities Pilot program, full understanding of all the resources available for our community members, and full understanding of what qualifies individuals for the program.
Manage and ensure success of the HOP Program.
Manage HOP Support team members and HOP Administrative assistant.
Engage community members explaining the program, benefits, process of enrollment.
Manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations and staff of HOP program.
Enter all the notes in Unite Us for the families enrolled.
Assist participants with referrals to other agencies as needed.
Coordinate with Foothills Food Hub Manager on all local food sourcing needed for each week.
Make purchases as needed to supplement the local food purchased from farmers.
Attend pantries, distributions or functions as needed to assist with enrollment, outreach or engagement.
Utilize logistics software to plan all delivery routes.
Schedule HOP team members to ensure all aspects of the HOP program are supported.

Essential skills:
* Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Minimum Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience supervising a team. ( 2 years Leadership experience highly preferred)
Experience in the use of Logistic software to plan delivery routes is preferred.
