Matos Builders is highering commercial carpenters for a federal project in Gaithersburg, MD.  It is a secure facility and the applicant must be able to pass a background check. 


Applicants must possess:

  • OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 10 will be considered)
  • Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
  • Door hardware installation experience
  • Basic knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Windows
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a face paced environment
  • Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in carpentry
  • Ability to follow and meet project deadlines as outlined in the schedule


Job duties include:

  • Managing multiple project tasks
  • Professional interaction with government personnel
  • Keeping a clean and safe workplace
  • Installation of wifi enabled door locks, 4 per day
