INAMAX is a management consulting firm operating multiple gaming and retail companies across several states. We offer retailers the expertise needed to add or improve current terminal gaming operations, such as COAM, VLT, and VGT. We help our partners successfully manage risk while adding a highly profitable revenue stream and leveraging underutilized space.
POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to lead our team through multiple internal projects, as well as customer implementations and software deployments that cross over several states. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, directing and managing risk to ensure projects are on time and on budget. The Project Manager will work across our organization’s sales, operations and research and development departments. The Project Manager will help organize our product roadmap and usher new or updated products/software through the development process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESGeneral Project Management:
- Assist in the definition of project scope, objectives, stakeholders, budget and delivery dates while managing all project documentation
- Create and use project management templates and tools to assign, track and manage all aspects of projects
- Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhere to deadlines
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
- Create and present SWOT analysis on various options for stakeholders to consider
- Maintain alignment and collaboration during execution to ensure team actions remain in synergy
- Ensure team members accurately identify and update tasks, milestones, durations and dependencies
- Communicate with executives to keep the project aligned with company goals and objectives
- Perform quality control on the project throughout development
- Adjust schedules and targets on projects as needed
- Measure performance progress using appropriate project management tools and techniques
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to outline requirements
- Resolve misalignments among project members
- Assist in the development and execution of a technical product roadmap
- Work with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to prioritize and scope feature changes
- Define and deliver business requirements documents and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Coordinate end-user testing of new product/software or updated features with stakeholders
- Coordinate the deployment of new software/product upgrades and new customer implementations
- Assist department experts with building SOP’s as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science or similar field
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager
- 5+ years of experience in a job in the technology or gaming industry
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM certification is required
- Demonstrated measurable success defining and launching excellent projects
- Capable of assembling pricing analysis and financial modeling and revenue opportunity
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Worked with both in-house and offshore software development projects
- Have worked with Agile projects, including both Scrum and Kanban
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project,)
- Proficient in performance tracking tool (e.g., Asana, Monday, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Data analysis skills to compile and present monthly analytics reports
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed
