Everest Recruiting is Hiring: 1st Shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk in San Marcos

Join a dynamic manufacturing facility in San Marcos as a full-time, long-term Shipping and Receiving Clerk on the 1st shift. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.50.

Shift/Schedule:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Control to ensure incoming finished goods and purchased production parts meet required standards before release.
  • Production Order Management: Handle production order requests for Work in Process (WIP) parts, resin, and purchased production parts, and prepare necessary paperwork for shipments.
  • Inventory Tracking: Input the status of finished goods, purchased parts, resins, and MRO orders into JD Edwards. Manage receiving systems, warehouse placement, and stock replenishment.
  • Customs Compliance: Follow all Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) procedures.
  • Equipment Inspections: Conduct daily checks on forklifts and electric pallet jacks to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
  • Warehouse Management: Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) and JD Edwards to track orders and retrieve essential information.
  • Shipping Accuracy: Create interplant transfer orders, packing lists, and invoices, and verify items against pick tickets to ensure accurate shipping.
  • Loading and Delivery: Stage and load trailers and containers, prepare large truck and international orders, and handle the movement of goods within the company campus.
  • Supply Management: Assist Distribution Center Supervisors in maintaining the necessary levels of shipping supplies.
  • Flexibility: Be prepared to work overtime when needed.
