Summary
Perform warehouse functions of receiving, binning, picking, packing, and cycle count of a truck parts distribution facility for customer order fulfillment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work as a dedicated team member to provide fast and accurate service to every customer
- Complete all necessary steps required for customer order fulfillment in line with published operating procedures, policies, and performance standards.
- Safely operate a variety of material handling equipment including but not limited to standup forklift, sit down forklift, reach truck, order picker, stock chaser, or pallet jack
- Properly pack components to minimize risk of damage during transit
- Build kits as necessary
- Perform data entry tasks on a computer and/or RF unit for binning and picking orders
- Generate BOL, packing lists and documents meeting trucking and customer needs
- Strictly adhere to all facility safety requirements
- Communicate issues and possible resolutions to your supervisor in a timely manner
- Provide feedback for process improvements
- Perform cycle counts accurately and timely
- Properly store components in rack systems to prevent damage and safety concerns
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand/walk 67-100% of the time
- Ability to climb a ladder and/or stairs
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Work overtime as needed
- Able to work flexible hours
