Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary

Perform warehouse functions of receiving, binning, picking, packing, and cycle count of a truck parts distribution facility for customer order fulfillment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work as a dedicated team member to provide fast and accurate service to every customer
  • Complete all necessary steps required for customer order fulfillment in line with published operating procedures, policies, and performance standards.
  • Safely operate a variety of material handling equipment including but not limited to standup forklift, sit down forklift, reach truck, order picker, stock chaser, or pallet jack
  • Properly pack components to minimize risk of damage during transit
  • Build kits as necessary
  • Perform data entry tasks on a computer and/or RF unit for binning and picking orders
  • Generate BOL, packing lists and documents meeting trucking and customer needs
  • Strictly adhere to all facility safety requirements
  • Communicate issues and possible resolutions to your supervisor in a timely manner
  • Provide feedback for process improvements
  • Perform cycle counts accurately and timely
  • Properly store components in rack systems to prevent damage and safety concerns
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand/walk 67-100% of the time
  • Ability to climb a ladder and/or stairs
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Able to work flexible hours
