Position Description:

The mission of the operations excellence group is to maximize business performance by being the objective, trusted partner within the operations organization – through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence. We also identify and drive critical projects and strategic initiatives to support revenue growth. A key focus is to ensure operational processes are clearly defined and scalable for both organic growth and growth by M&A activity.

We're seeking an Operations Analyst who thrives on identifying opportunities for optimization and leading initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in not only analyzing data to uncover insight and trends but also driving meaningful change at both the enterprise and business unit levels.

Position Responsibilities:

· Collate data from various systems to compile comprehensive datasets, conduct thorough analysis to extract actionable insights and trends, and utilize PowerBI and/or Tableau tools to visualize and report data effectively.

· Support Business Unit (BU) leaders in preparing monthly business reviews with insightful analysis and reports.

· Collaborate closely with Business Unit and Operations Leaders to proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and operational optimization.

· Conduct thorough analyses to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement within operational processes.

· Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis efforts to understand underlying issues and develop actionable solutions.

· Design and implement process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall operational effectiveness.

· Develop metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor the success and impact of process improvement efforts.

· Serve as a change agent, driving adoption of new processes and methodologies throughout the organization.

· Act as a liaison between operational teams and IT to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business needs and process requirements.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and deliver training programs to support the implementation of new processes and drive continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and problem-solving roles, with a focus on driving process improvement initiatives within an enterprise or business unit.

· Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable process improvement recommendations.

· Experience with process mapping, value stream analysis, and other process improvement methodologies.

· Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative to drive change.

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in data to inform process improvement efforts.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

· Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
