To design, install, administer, and maintain complex IT networks in a compliant and secure manner. To meet the needs of our continually changing IT environment. To provide the necessary 99.999% network stability for our Gaming and Non-Gaming systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all of the Juniper network hardware and network connections for Naskila Casino, including but not limited to Firewall, Routers, Switches and Wireless Access Points.
- Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis and performance turning.
- Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, and maintaining documentation.
- Assist the IT department in other IT capacities as the department requires.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Full understanding of networking languages
- Seven (7) plus years recent experience in IT
- Two (2) plus years successful network administration experience in a comparable large network environment
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work with Command line and GUI network applications.
- Ability to maintain large, complex networks.
- Ability for rapid problem solving and remediation.
PREFERRED:
- Network+ Certification, JUNOS Certification, and/or VMWare Certified Technical Associate
Typical hours are dayshift: must be flexible to work hours based on business needs including on-call hours for a 24-hour business operation, weekends, and holidays.
