Crane Mechanic

Ascend Equipment is seeking experienced mechanics to add to our Owensboro team. Crane repair experience is highly recommended, but the right candidate will be trained to work with our fleet of specialized equipment.

Duties:

• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of equipment and tools.
• Perform scheduled maintenance activities on equipment.
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs.
• Communicate between customers, management, and other mechanics in regard to schedules, evaluations, and repairs.
• Coordinate with parts department for ordering of needed parts, communicating time frame needed to receive parts.
• Adhere to company policy and procedure and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years mechanic experience.
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Must possess valid drivers license and phone number.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
