Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Center director. A bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood education, or related field and management experience in a licensed childcare center is preferred. We are looking for an individual with creativity that can bring positive management skills and lead a team of teachers.
Responsibilities
Develop strong relationships with our staff, families and community
Maintain accurate record-keeping, both state and GSI requirements
Support staff in daily tasks and classroom management
Manage and maintain child care services in accordance to DCF
Team and Parent engagement
Qualifications
BA, BS Degree, or Masters degree in Early Childhood education or education; Director qualified
Prior Managerial/Leadership experience in a child care setting
CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Outstanding customer service skills, ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills and handle a variety of situations effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
