Shop Helper/Machine Operator (Temp-to-Hire) - Immediate opening NOW available in Sealy Tx. 1st shiftPay Rate: $15/hr (Depending on Experience)Hours:
  • 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM (OT Flexibility)
Primary Function:This position is responsible for operating the trim press in a safe and effective manner.
Job Duties:
  • Operate trim press in forge shop safely and effectively.
  • Follow quality requirements of the part.
  • Must be able to meet requirements of parts being pressed.
  • Review and interpret paperwork related to operating trim press for parts.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Keep pace with press operator to avoid production delays.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Support and/or participate in the organization’s Continuous Improvement Programs.
  • Proactively participate in the Safety Program.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Basic mechanical understanding.
  • Basic safety requirements related to the production environment.
  • Knowledge in forging industry is a plus.
  • Must be able to work in a hot environment.
