Level Descriptor

Level II:
This is the career level where incumbents perform a variety of tasks in photogrammetry and LiDAR at the full-performance level, such as retrieving field survey data from ground survey archive files, building complex alignments using coordinate geometry software, and generating volume computations for highway design.

Level III:
This is the specialist level where incumbents perform complex work in the extraction of all available data from aerial photography and LiDAR data to be used in the reconnaissance, planning, design and construction of highways. Incumbents may train subordinate employees. Responsibilities may include performing functions in the areas of creating project maps suited for both photogrammetric and LiDAR applications to be used by surveyors or consultants.

At this level incumbent will be testing projects that are received by consultant's as well as coworkers to achieve our minimum accuracy standard.
