Sanitation Supervisor

Job Summary

The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for ensuring ACH's adherence to all GMP and SQF regulations by performing daily sanitation inspections. Incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the duties of all sanitors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provides appropriate leadership to ensure compliance with ACH and industry food safety and sanitation standards.
2. Partners with Production in developing sanitary procedures, training, and auditing tools.
3. Directs cleaning of equipment, facilities, and all work areas in conjunction with other departments.
4. Manages the internal sanitation program.
5. Maintains accurate and timely sanitation records in compliance to all regulatory audits including SQF.
6. Supervises sanitation employees. Tracks and approves time, addresses discipline and recognition procedures.
7. Complies with all Sanitation safety requirements and standard operating procedures.
8. Works with external sanitation vendors to improve performance and cost.
9. Identify and troubleshoot sanitation issues with Quality, Production and Maintenance.
10. Implements procedures to maintain/improve quality, efficiency and safety.
11. Follows and enforces all GMP's.
12. Directs, motivates, trains and instructs staff in cleaning equipment and the facility.
13. Prepares for annual SQF and other quality audits.
14. Performs other duties as required.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or 7 years hands on experience as a Sanitation Supervisor.
