Position – Machine Operator

Job Location –Eagan, MN

Starting Date – 7/1/2024

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire (Must pass a drug test)

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (Mon-Fri) (7:00am-4:00pm); Friday is a half day ending at 11am, huge orders may result in OT on Friday

Starting Pay – $19 per hour

Benefits – If hired on, health and dental benefits are offered; Holiday pay, 2-weeks paid vacation, Sam’s Club membership, Christmas Bonus, Referral Bonus

Preferred Experience – Machine operating, and forklift preferred but not required.

Looking for an individual that can follow orders from the machine operators or plant manager. Someone who can work as a team player and deal with other individuals. An employee who will float to where help is needed or be an actual line operator.

 

Responsibilities:

• Understanding of the machine back stand

• Understanding how other equipment runs and how to adjust it

• Able to use hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, nail gun, broom, etc.)

• Setting up paper rolls and learning how to splice in a run

• Learning different paper types and sizes in order to produce tube orders

• Learning how to read and understand work orders

• Keeping the work area clean and safe

• Making pallets

• Stacking products onto pallets or into boxes

• Operating a manual or electrical pallet jack

 

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read measurements and perform basic math

• Experience in general labor, production, or other related fields

• Ability to handle physical workload

• Strong work ethic

• Eagerness to learn

• Able and willing to stand for entire shift times

• Ability to work in a hot, busy environment

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
