Refinery Planner

As a Refinery Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our refinery. You’ll collaborate with various teams to optimize production processes, manage resources, and maintain schedules. Your attention to detail and ability to plan strategically will contribute to the overall success of our refinery operations.
Responsibilities:Production Coordination:
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
Resource Allocation:
- Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations.
- Schedule shifts according to production needs.
- Monitor jobs to ensure they finish on time and within budget.
Data Monitoring and Reporting:
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives, etc.).
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
- Keep paperwork organized.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff to streamline processes.
- Work closely with managers and engineers to ensure smooth operations.
- Proven experience as a production planner.
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
- Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning).
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- High school diploma; further education or certification is preferred.
- Advanced communication and computer skills.
- Familiarity with refinery operations and safety protocols.
