Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with AWARE’s Clinical Professionals in providing services as assigned and developed through prescribed curriculum lesson plans.
- Spend time with client and family as assigned and/or as identified on the treatment plan.
- Assesses client, family and environments utilizing assessment tools.
- Coordinates and conducts the team process to develop a comprehensive Individualized Treatment Plan.
- Provide family training and direct care services in a natural environment to assist children and their families in improving:
Social Skills
Educational Skills
Vocational Skills
Caseload and/or billing expectations and requirements must be met on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Requirements:Required Skills, Abilities & Education:
- A thorough understanding of human services, resources, and tools.
- Ability to assess clients (and families) from a strengths model perspective.
- Skills, knowledge, and abilities to develop a theoretical perspective.
- Ability to work with a variety of people.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
Preferred Skills & Abilities & Education:
- A BS/BA Degree in a Human Services Related Field is preferred; an equivalency can be used based on documented work history, education, and volunteer experience.
