Responsibilities:

  • Ensure equipment complies with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Track engineering expenses and capital budgeting compliance.
  • Support the design, installation, modification, and maintenance of plant equipment, buildings, and facilities.
  • Assist production by providing necessary engineering and maintenance support.
  • Utilize continuous improvement tools to analyze product irregularities, recommend solutions, and facilitate cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Identify unacceptable performance through data analysis and technical knowledge of products and processes.
  • Prepare cost estimates, justify projects financially, and manage budgets, design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by working with associates on environmental, health, and safety issues.
  • Manage contractors and audit their work to ensure adherence to safety and standard operating procedures.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Experience in equipment design and project engineering or project management.
  • Proficiency in computer-based technology, programming languages, and machine troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of modern safety control systems and electrical diagrams.
  • Ability to interpret and create technical CAD drawings and schematics.
  • Manufacturing or related industry experience is preferred.
  • PLC skills and knowledge are a plus.
