Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $17.00 + DOE

Job Summary:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for tracking and recording incoming and outgoing electrical units as part of the inventory team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create, prepare, and categorize inventory files for all incoming units.
  • Physically count and log all units into the Inventory Management System.
  • Identify and troubleshoot units and classify them for resale or recycle accordingly.
  • Capture and maintain photograph inventory records for resale operations.
  • Perform weekly inventory counts and inspections of equipment in storage.
  • Update inventory records with any damages as necessary.
  • Enter and correct data into manifests and BOLs to match inventory records.
  • Finalize paperwork and perform quality checks on all inventory records.
  • Pull oil samples and perform quality tests on equipment as needed.
  • Communicate with team lead, employees, and customers on available inventory as needed.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to use Inventory Management Software and Excel to process and maintain data.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite Software including Excel is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of data entry or inventory related experience preferred.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Walking, bending, and lifting inventory units.


Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to work some Saturdays and overtime when needed.
  • Must be able to work inside and/or outside and be exposed to all weather elements, including extreme heat, wind, rain, snow, and freezing temperatures.
  • Must be able to work in conditions that are exposed to loud noise, heavy vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and around hazardous and/or non-hazardous materials.
