Role Description

  • Planning engagements including preparation of audit programs and time budgets to achieve quality and efficiency goals.
  • Conducting and supervising all aspects of field work in audit engagements, reviews, and compilations.
  • Completing or reviewing all workpapers and financial statements before submission to manager for further review.
  • Recognizing and informing senior management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients.
  • Other duties as assigned, such as special projects, including other agreed upon procedures set forth by clients.
  • Assisting with training and developing staff and interns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred, or equivalent certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience in audit services
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in managing and supervising staff
  • Experience with GAAP and GAAS
  • Experience with PCAOB regulations and SEC audit filings preferred, but not required
  • Experience with PPC Checkpoint a plus
  • Experience with Thomson Reuters Advance Flow a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
