As a UI/UX Intern you will have the opportunity to work closely with our design and development teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. You will gain hands-on experience in wireframing, prototyping, and visual design, contributing to real projects that impact our users.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the design team to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Support the development of user personas, user journeys, and information architecture.
  • Help design and maintain UI components and design systems.
  • Participate in usability testing and analyze results to improve user experience.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure design consistency and implementation accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in User Experience/User Interface Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating user-centered designs.
  • Ability to take feedback positively and iterate on designs accordingly.

Additional Qualifications:

§ Portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of typography, grids, hierarchy, and color theory, utilized to create visually compelling and impactful designs.

§ Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is a bonus.


Duration:

This is a summer internship position in Portland, OR with a duration of 12 weeks.
