CCSN is excited to announce that we are seeking a CCSN is inviting applications for a full-time or part-time Psychologist or Psychology Postdoctoral candidate to join our Evaluation team.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive assessments of cognition, adaptive functioning, social skills, executive functioning, and potentially academic skills with individuals aged 1 year through adult with neurodiverse profiles.
  • Providing school-based observations of students with special needs.
  • Providing evidence-based intervention and treatment planning recommendations following from comprehensive assessment and observations conducted.
  • Providing written psychological assessment reports clearly detailing evaluation findings and resulting recommendations.
  • Attending Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings to present results from the evaluations conducted as necessary.
  • Attending clinical team meetings and other internal meetings online or onsite at CCSN’s Glastonbury office.
  • Coordinating with CCSN’s administrative team as needed.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Be a Licensed or license-eligible Psychologist in good standing with the State of Connecticut.
  • Have experience in providing comprehensive and diagnostic assessments for individuals with ASD and other learning needs for at least 2 years.
  • Have strong written and oral communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Have a desire to work as part of a large multidisciplinary team of BCBAs, psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists.

This position also includes:

  • Weekly participation in clinical team.
  • Participation in center-based professional development for CEs.
  • Opportunities for growth and development of clinical skills.
  • Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians throughout the organization.
