We are hiring a Warehouse Technician for our facility based in Memphis, TN. The Warehouse Technician is responsible for order processing, inventory management, and safety compliance.
Our new Warehouse Technician will be responsible for:
- Picking, packing, and shipping orders.
- Receive stock orders.
- Coordinate efforts with warehouse management to dispose properly of scrapped parts & maintain documentation.
- Participate in physical counts of parts and materials on an annual or as directed basis.
- Assist in determining causes of short or over-item situations.
- Operate within all parts policies and procedures of Flint Hydraulics.
- Operate safely and follow all safety guidelines.
- Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program, to conform to ISO 9001 requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in lieu of education will be accepted.
Experience
- Two to five (2-5) years of warehousing and distribution experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good physical skills on equipment and an aptitude for manual work.
- Solid equipment and parts knowledge.
- Warehousing training in a distribution, manufacturing, or dealership environment.
- Knowledgeable on shipping methods and procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Able to talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Able to stand, walk, sit, and bend, 8-10 hours per day.
- Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Able to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
- Able to pass a drug test.
- Exposure to production environment.
- Reasonable accommodations are made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
