WebFlow Designer

Essential Functions

• Designing and developing responsive websites using the WebFlow platform
• Translating and execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering with a focus on user experience and interactivity
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code within WebFlow platform and apply/enforce accessibility standards to all work
• Proficient in actively using Finsweet tools, best practices, and using client-first coding methodology (source)
• Identify and resolve bugs, issues, or inconsistencies in the design or functionality via the website or mobile sites
• Conduct thorough testing of websites to ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and optimal performance
• Manage, maintain and create multi types of pages, while managing multiple web development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and page optimization
• Continue to establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and brand standards
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
• Must be proficient in Responsive Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Webflow Platform, HTML/CSS, Basic Javascript, or other visual design and wire-framing toolsDemonstrable graphic design skills with strong portfolio
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
• Proficient in coding in REM units (not PX)
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
