The Work
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Trainer to join our team. The Sales Trainer will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that equip our sales team with the skills, knowledge, and tools they need to excel in selling our SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales training, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the SaaS industry. This position is remote.
This is done through working in these areas of focus:
  1. Develop Training Programs:
    • Assist with design and implementation of comprehensive training programs for new and existing sales team members, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and best practices.
    • Create engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, and interactive modules.
  2. Deliver Training Sessions:
    • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for sales representatives, ensuring they understand the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of our SaaS products.
    • Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to help sales team members improve their performance.
  3. Evaluate Training Effectiveness:
    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and reporting performance metrics.
    • Continuously update and improve training materials based on feedback and industry trends.
  4. Collaborate with Sales Leadership:
    • Work closely with sales managers and leaders to identify training needs and align training programs with sales goals and strategies.
    • Participate in sales meetings and strategy sessions to stay informed about sales objectives and challenges.
  5. Stay Current with Industry Trends:
    • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in sales training and the SaaS industry.
    • Incorporate new methods and tools to enhance training programs and improve sales effectiveness.
  6. Support Onboarding:
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new sales hires, ensuring they quickly become proficient in our products and sales processes.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to new team members during their initial training period.


Requirements:  To be considered for this role, you will have this experience: 
  • Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or in a comparable sales training role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
  • 1-2 years’ Sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS products and the software sales process.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure training effectiveness.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and a master of PowerPoint and Excel.

Qualifications:
  • 2 year’s Sales Experience in SaaS industry
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Sales Trainer
  • Familiarity with LMS/E-learning platforms
  • Experience assisting in the design of a Sales training program

Compensation and Benefits
Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, monthly, quarterly, or annual incentive and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with Company match and a flexible paid time off plan.

Base compensation range for this position is between $60-68K DOE with an annual bonus.
