Data Electronic Devices, Inc., (an Emerald Technologies company) has an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to join our team. The Production Planner ensures the production process goes smoothly by making sure all of the appropriate parts are in place and ready to go.

Responsibilities of the Production Planner:

  • Planning, scheduling and coordinating production of the company’s products
  • Evaluating raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production
  • Reporting on the production status and any production issues to upper management
  • Handling production disruptions and productivity problems
  • Collaborates and communicates effectively with Purchasing, Quality Control, Warehouse, Production, and other departments to schedule and fulfill customer orders
  • Using market forecasts and competitive analysis to anticipate necessary production changes

Qualifications of the Production Planner:

  • Minimum 3 years of Manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control
  • Technical skills using material requirements planning and scheduling software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees
