Accounting Associate

Twin Lakes is seeking a highly motivated and dependable Accounting Associate for our Corporate office in Gainesboro, Tennessee. An Accounting Associate works diligently with all care to ensure financial records are accurate and timely to allow for exceptional performance of duties in all regards. Must perform duties effectively and ethically with attention to detail, keeping strict confidentiality, with focus on accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement. Must be able to multi-task in a professional, fast paced environment.

Functions and Abilities of the Position:

§ Prepares, reconciles, and posts bank deposits and cash receipts to the financial accounting system.

§ Compiles and prepares payroll by reviewing and processing timesheet summaries for payroll processing; resolve any time reporting issues, process payroll, and reconcile any payroll accounts. Complete tax returns. Prepare and distribute payroll reports.

§ Prepares and analyzes monthly budget comparisons.

§ Prepares, reconciles, and posts expenses to the financial accounting system completing the credit card reconciliation.

§ Knowledge of Uniform System of Accounts (Part 32) as prescribed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

§ Must possess knowledge of accounting and payroll principles and practices.

§ Must possess ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments with frequent interruptions.

§ Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have either a Bachelor or Associate degree in Accounting. Degree must be obtained within the probationary period of employment, if not completed prior to offer.
