The sewer operators are tasked with sewing of mattress, topper and pillow covers. Sewing operators will run industrial -Overlock, Straight Stitch, Chain Stitch, Double needle and Automated machines. You will work with the team assembling covers.
Job Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain sewing machines and related parts, needles, presser feet, automatic cutting tools and blades.
  • Understand how to adjust sewing machines including thread adjustments, mounting attachments, changing of pressure feet and check settings.
  • Inspect and repair finished product and adjust to compensate for errors and quality issues.
  • Attaching elastic, cording, zippers and other trims to work diagrams.
  • Meet or exceed consistent daily and weekly output and quality goals.
  • Job skills & Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to work with industrial sewing machine
  • Good physical coordination with hands and eyes.
  • Able to lift 25 pounds on regular basis
  • Able to pass a simple sewing skills test
  • English is a plus but not required
