MOST/DFW is looking for an Intake Coordinator to join our administrative team. As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent client services and ensuring the clinical operations at our company run smoothly.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Facilitates the  intake process for all incoming clients and maintains client relationships by providing exceptional customer service to families seeking therapeutic services. The Intake Coordinator will work closely with the Billing department, Lead Therapist, and Clinical Administrators in managing client care while promoting compassionate high-quality standards..

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Communicate professionally to all referral sources including clients/parents/guardians
  • Obtain all clinical pertinent information (including but not limited to: demographics and insurance information, clinical intake assessment information, or other information as directed) ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Document timely and accurately in the EMR system and information systems.
  • Facilitate the intake process for new patients by coordinating timely evaluation and acceptance of clients referred for services to MOST/DFW
  • Coordinates client care with administrative teams including, Lead Therapist, Billing Department, and Clinical Director
  • Communicates intake status with client/families and provides timely updates
  • Assures work is completed in a timely manner to prevent delays in client care
  • Assist in maintaining client management notes while maintaining the confidentiality of client records


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with a concentration in Healthcare or Business related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare industry experience required
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in intake, coordination of care, or referral management
  • Empathy and perspective taking of client, staff, and families
  • Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential material, strong knowledge of HIPAA privacy guidelines and requirements
  • Proficient in Google Workspace
  • Experience with benefit verifications and authorizations required
  • Strong ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities while ensuring productivity expectations and quality are met


Reports to: Administrative Director

Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time/Part-Time, Hourly
