What does a Early Learning Center Administrator do?

As the Early Learning Center Administrator at the Young Women's Christian Association Greater Cleveland, you will have the exciting opportunity to manage the curriculum of our unique two-generation model, serving children aged 3-5. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of the center, managing the budget, and leading the education team to create a stimulating learning environment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain the high standards of our program.

Your problem-solving skills and empathetic approach will be instrumental in ensuring the success of our Early Learning Center and making a positive impact on the lives of both children and families in our community.

Are you the Early Learning Center Administrator we're looking for?

To excel in the role of Early Learning Center Administrator at the Young Women's Christian Association in Cleveland, you should possess a deep understanding of Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) and ODJFS requirements to maintain program quality and compliance. Experience or certification in early childhood mental health and behavioral management would be highly beneficial in effectively supporting the development of young children in our care. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential for managing the curriculum, overseeing the education team, and ensuring the smooth daily operations of the center. Additionally, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities will be vital for building positive relationships with staff, parents, and regulatory agencies to uphold the standards of excellence at our Early Learning Center.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Knowledgeable of Step Up to Quality (SUTQ), UPK and ODJFS requirements. prefer early childhood mental health and behavioral experience/certification.
