Attendance Requirements:

  • The schedule for this position is 5am - 2pm Monday thru Friday; however, schedule requirements may vary during the training period.

Essential Duties:

  • Respond quickly to customers or sales reps via email or phone, about ETA or delays on daily/future orders.
  • Troubleshoot drivers on their day-to-day operation. This includes scheduling truck maintenance, retaining loads, customer site/contact information.
  • Responsible for monitoring product inventory at customer locations.
  • Route loads and deliveries according to truck capacity and available carded drivers.
  • Review and complete the order process and prepare schedules for all deliveries.
  • Perform order entry function.
  • Monitor fuel and/or bulk lube usage and make independent decisions in regards when and where to deliver, including decisions regarding diverting loads, canceling deliveries, and adding deliveries as needed based on market conditions.
  • Ensure the overall customer experience and service exceeds Company standards.
  • Plan and assign deliveries to maximize productivity, profitability, and customer service.
  • Anticipate, identify, prioritize, and resolve/eliminate problems through effective delivery, planning and scheduling.
  • Perform load planning activities and coordinate load assignments.
  • Handle administrative paperwork and computer entry duties.
