Striping Foreman

Empire is Hiring Striping Foreman 

Southern California's fastest growing paving contractor is looking for a striping foreman to join our production team. Our office is located in Orange, California and we service the entire Southern California Area. To be eligible for this position 3-year experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities for this position include laying out and striping lines in parking lots and warehouses, painting curbs, wheel stops, stencils, and installing signs, posts, and wheel stops.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operating line striping equipment and utilizing various tools of the trade to layout and stripe parking lots
• Training new team members on equipment and best processes
• Managing various size projects from start to completion
• Safely operating trucks/machinery and hauling equipment to and from the job
• Ability to follow plans, delegate tasks, work efficiently and problem solve in the field
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members, answer questions, communicate concerns back to the management team, and be the authority in the field 
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
• Complete all required paperwork to properly track daily production and crew accountability
• Take photos of completed project

Qualifications: 

• Must be able to meet all safety requirements
• Must be able to work overtime/weekends as required
• Must possess a valid CA. driver's license and DMV record at the time of interview
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Must have ability to calculate figures and amounts such as measurements, weights, area, circumference, and volume
• Can stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs
• Have an eagerness to learn
