The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. They also have direct contact with patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform phlebotomy on Pediatrics, Geriatrics and Adults

  • Use butterfly and straight stick needles

  • Data Entry

  • Customer Service

  • Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general. 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent – Required.

  • 2 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections – Required 

  • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment – Preferred 

  • Committed to all Policies & Procedures including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.

  • Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule:Varies shifts, 8am-5pm, 7am-4pm

  • Starting at $18/hr. (Based on experience) 

  • Full benefits – healthcare, dental, vision, 401k program.
