Job DescriptionJob Description

AAMCI is looking for a Part-time Custodian/maintenance for our 100-unit Elderly/Disabled community in Knoxville, TN.

Monday-Friday 4 hours per day, $14.00 per hour,

AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Upkeep of all community grounds
  • Clean common areas - community room, gym Etc.
  • Clean Stairwells
  • Vacuum hallways
  • Mopping, sweeping
  • Clean and sanitize elevator
  • Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily
  • Assist maintenance team with snow removal (if applicable)
  • Report any maintenance concerns for resolution

Qualifications necessary for success:

  • Ability to self-motivate
  • Janitorial experience
  • Custodial
  • Porter
  • Cleaning
  • Courteous
  • Physically able to perform all duties required, including but not limited to standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working outdoors
