Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionCarolina Animal Specialty & Emergency in Hickory, NC is seeking Customer Service Representatives to join our rapidly growing specialty and emergency practice. CASE is a multi-specialty practice with specialists in internal medicine, surgery, and 24-hour emergency and critical care. They are supported by our highly trained and compassionate team of technicians, assistants, and client service representatives. We currently have openings for nights and/or weekend CSRs on our emergency service team.

***This position is for weekends only, Saturday and Sunday***
Here is What Your Day Might Consist of:
  • Provide friendly, quality customer care to patients and clients
  • Process invoices payments
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and obtain all necessary medical history
  • Determine the status of the patient’s immunizations and tests
  • Resolve patient complaints via phone and email
  • Communicate with the doctor and technical staff on the patient’s arrival and necessary treatments
  • Fill prescriptions, food requests, and over-the-counter products as instructed by a veterinarian
  • Accurately input data into computer software

Here is the Experience you will bring to the Job:
  • A high school diploma or GED required 
  • Previous experience in the veterinary field required 
  • Must be available to work rotating shifts 
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for various amounts of time 
  • Must maintain professionalism in high-stress situations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication 
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
