Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Order Selector to join our team. The Order Selector will be responsible for accurately selecting and packing customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products. This role is critical to maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately select customer orders from inventory using a handheld scanner or pick list.
  • Pack orders securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
  • Ensure orders are correctly labeled and prepared for shipping.
  • Verify quantities and quality of products picked.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed.
  • Follow all safety and company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily performance targets.
  • Report any discrepancies, damaged items, or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
