Job description

NRGUSA is seeking a pool maintenance technician interested in a short term, 5-month seasonal summer position. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing pool equipment, ensuring that pools are clean and safe for use. If you have mechanical knowledge, experience with pool maintenance, and enjoy working with your hands, we would love to hear from you.

Position is stationed out of Farmingdale, NY Schedule 40 hours week, Wednesday - Saturday, 8am-7pm Pay Rate - $20ph


Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pool equipment and systems
- Clean and maintain pools to ensure they are safe and hygienic for use
- Test water chemistry and make necessary adjustments to maintain proper balance
- Install and replace pool equipment as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for working with power tools
- Familiarity with pool maintenance practices and equipment repair
- Ability to use hand tools effectively
- Knowledge of water chemistry and pool sanitation methods is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
